Presidential Conference on Environmental Sustainability and Peace

John Anderson is a Past District Governor of District 5040 having served in 2015-16. He is currently Chair of the Presidential Conference and District Chair for Peace in District 5040.  He has been in Rotary for around 25 years and has served as President of the  West Vancouver and the Tsawwassen Clubs. He is currently a member of the Tsawwassen Club.

John will be speaking about the Presidential Conference on Environmental Sustainability and Peace.  The conference is one of six Peacebuilding Conferences convened by President Ian Riseley and being sponsored by Zones 24, 25 and 26. This conference will take place on the weekend of February 9-11 2018 in Vancouver and will be the first major conference Rotary has held on the environment. He will address the links between peace and the environment and will discuss some of the initiatives that have been started in District 5040 and in partnership with the Rotary Action Group, Rotarians for Peace.
