Local Businesses Get On Board the Virtual “Polar Express”

To Keep Feeding Our School Kids through Breakfast And Food Programs During COVID-19

British Columbia has among the strongest economies in the Country and yet one of the worst child poverty rates, with 1 in 5 children living in poverty.  With COVID-19, more than three thousand local school kids arrive hungry at our schools in Victoria every morning and it continues to increase during these difficult times.

The Rotary Club of Victoria-Harbourside provides financial support for school breakfast programs in Victoria at local elementary schools and serves thousands of breakfasts to local kids throughout the school year, even and especially now during the Covid-19 pandemic, but it’s a challenge.

This year, COVID-19 has cancelled our 3rd Annual Polar Express PJ Party and Breakfast at IMAX Victoria that helps raise funds for local children’s programs.  We're calling on local businesses to join us again this year in supporting a virtual fundraising effort “Polar Express Fundraising Initiative” to ensure we can still provide either breakfast, a mid morning snack or lunch through school food programs.

We’re offering an exclusive sponsorship opportunity for your Company as a key sponsor.

100% of all funds raised will go towards covering the cost of our school food programs and to help feed our community’s most vulnerable children.

Brighten our youths’ lives, nourish the soul and body, it’s easy to get on board the “Polar Express” train and become a sponsor:

Exclusive Platinum Key Sponsor Level: $3000.00+...Corporate and local business donations to cover the cost of supporting our school food programs every day

Exclusive Gold Sponsor Level:  $1500.00.00...Corporate and local business donations to cover the cost of supporting our school food programs every day.
